Purple Patch with the cooperation
of the Tasmanian
Parks and Wildlife Service, have selected 30 high quality
photos by renowned Tasmanian photographers of Tasmania's National
Parks. Subjects include flora, fauna, andscenery that few people
are privileged to experience first hand. Also included in the
full version is an ambient musical composition that reflects
Tasmania's serenity. (The software only version is also available
on a professionally produced CDROM for US$19.95). |
Designed specifically for Windows
95,98, NT & 2000, and powered by a first-rate 32-bit screen saver
engine, the screen saver contains many user customisable options.
You can use the built in Windows password protection to stop the de-activation
of the screen saver. Adjust the delay time between displaying images.
Select any or all of the numerous transition effects. Change the caption
location or font style of the caption, or remove the captions altogether.
You can make use of the Microsoft Plus! support which enables you
to display the screen saver immediately, or prevent it from appearing
at all, by moving the mouse pointer to a selected corner of the screen.

Most importantly, the screen
saver contains images that can be displayed at their original size
(900x600 resolution) or stretched to full screen, and all of the
photo scans have been carefully adjusted for best viewing even on
average monitors.
The program is very straight forward to install. Included with the
screen saver is a Screen Saver Control utility which is installed
to the "Taskbar Tray". This gives you easy access to launching,
disabling, or configuring any screen saver property, as well as
allowing for the random selecting, or changing, to any of your currently
installed screen savers. A Quick Start icon is also installed to
your desktop to enable very quick activation of your screensaver.
